For the last three weeks viewers have seen Denise Welch express a wild side in the Celebrity Big Brother house that they never knew existed.
Having a sense of fun clearly runs in the family as her father has been showcasing his other identity for over 40 years.
Vin Welch, from Tyne and Wear, used to work as a top drag queen in the bars and clubs of the north of England for many years.
The 74-year-old has an alter-ego that he calls Raquel as well as many other characters in repertoire and he even does a great impersonation of Dame Shirley Bassey.
Vin, who once appeared on screen with his famous daughter in Coronation Street as her father-in-law, claims to have always dressed up in women's clothes.
After first donning a wig and heels at a friends birthday party he became inundated with requests to do it again.
He told the Daily Star: 'From then on everyone would ask to see me in drag. I would stick on a dress or a nightie, a blonde curly wig and turn up as a girl.'
Benidorm star Denise has never had a problem with her father's less than conventional job and has always been fine with it.
Once, when the family went on a cruise holiday, Vin took his drag gear with him for a bit of fun while away.
He told the newspaper: 'She joked that I was crowned king and queen of the cruise.'
Denise is just one day away from completing Celebrity Big Brother and after a rocky few days in the house she seems to be back to herself.
The mother-of-two must have had her father on her mind as she tried to get the men in the house to dress like girls.
Predictably none of them would do it, except for Frankie Cocozza, 19, who said he would swap clothes because Denise told him that ladies love a man in drag.
